April '10

KB Sharp finished the game with a stunning 18 points on th 14th of April, but it was not enough to beat Toulouse.  Challes-les-Eaux played a great game, but lost in overtime.  The final score was 88-91.  This loss is especially crushing considering Challes-les-Eaux had been leading the whole game until the end of the fourth quarter.

Challes-les-Eaux suffered a hard loss on April 3rd, falling to Reze with a score of 81-74.  It was a hard fought game, but Reze came out with a small lead in the first quarter was able to hold onto it for the rest of the game.  KB played a good game, though, scoring 16 points and making 4 of 6 3-pointers.

March '10

Challes-les-Eaux snaps a 5-game losing streak with a 76-49 victory over Limoges on March 31st!  KB played a spectacular game and finished as the game's top scorer with 22 points!  KB was on fire, making six 3-pointers and pulling 8 rebounds!

Challes-les-Eaux suffered a crushing defeat to ASCQ Villeneuve on March 24th.  The result of the game was 66-91.  KB had an off-game, but still scored a respectable 9 points.

Challes-les-Euax fought a hard battle against Mondeville on March 20th, but could not pull though at the end to win the game.  Instead, Chelles was defeated 73-80.  KB finished as the game's top scorer with an astonishing 19 points!  Her superb performance was due in large part to her shots behind the 3-point line, making 4 for 6. 

KB Sharp had another good performance on March 17th against Bourges, but the team could not pull through with a win.  Bourges defeated Challes-les-Eaux by only 9 points, the final score was 52-61.  Sharp scored 11 points for the second straight game, and was tied as the game's top scorer.

Despite a great effort made by KB Sharp, Challes-les-Eaux fell to Opal Coast on March 6th.  KB finished the game with 11 of Chelles's 67 points, but it was not enough to overcome Opal Coast, who finighed the game with 72 points.

February '10

KB Sharp and her team had an unforunate loss on Feb. 21st against Tarbes, ending with a score of 62-74.  KB had an off-game, making only 3 for 11 shots for 7 points.

Challes-les-Eaux had a victory over Aix-en-Provence (KB's old team) on the 13th with a score of 71-66.  KB was one of the game's top scorers with 11 points.

Challed-les-Eaux played against Armentieres on January 30th. Challes had a strong lead throughout the game and took home the victory in the end. The final score was 79-50. KB played the most time out of her team with 27 minutes and contributed 5 points.

January '10

On January 16th, Challes-les-Eaux  played Basket Landes. Although it was a close game, Challes took the lead in the 3rd period which helped them secure the win. Challes-les-Eaux beat Basket Landes with a final score of 76-64. KB contributed 6 points, 6 rebounds and 3 assists. Challes-les-Eaux will next be facing Armentičres on January 30th.

Challes-Les-Eaux gained a victory against Arras on January 9th. The final score was 84-77. It was a very close game throughout and although they were down at half time, Challes was able to come back with the lead. KB played an awesome 36 minutes. She had 16 points, 3 rebounds and 4 assists. Challes-Les-Eaux will face Basket Landes on January 16.

December '09

Challes-les-Eaux played against Lattes Montpell on December 20. Challes played a tough game but, it was Lattes Montpell that came out with the victory. KB played just over 29 minutes and contributed 3 assists and 4 rebounds. Challes-les-Eaux will be playing Arras on January 9th.

On December 12th, Challes-les-Eaux had a tough game against Toulouse. Challes were leading in the first period but, could not keep up with Toulouse who won the game 70-47.  KB scored 5 points and had 2 rebounds and 2 assists. Challes-les-Eaux's next game will be against Lattes Montpellier on December 20.

Challes-les-Eaux played a close game against Nantes Rezé on December 6. It was an exciting game with the teams being tied at 44 points during halftime. Unfortunately, Challes eventually lost with the score 74- 80. KB played 31 minutes scoring 6 points. She also had 3 rebounds and 2 assists. Challes-les-Eaux’s next game will be against Toulouse on December 12th.

November '09

Challes-les-Eaux had a game against Limoges on November 28. Limoges proved themselves to be a tough match for Challes but ultimately it was Challes that came out with the victory. The score was 79-66. KB played a good game with 33 minutes. She also scored 16 points. Challes will be playing Nantes Rezé on December 6.

Challes-les-Eaux played Villeneuve d'Ascq on November 21st. Challes ultimately lost with the score 63-66. It was an exciting game with close scores throughout. KB played a good game with 2 rebounds, 3 assists and 9 points. Challes will be playing Limoges on November 28.

Challes-les-Eaux played a challenging game against Mondeville on November 14th.  The team ended up losing the game 73-69. Challes was able to fend off Mondeville for the first two quarters. However, they lost their lead in the 3rd. Once again, KB played the most minutes of her team with 32 minutes. Challes-les-Eaux will go against Villeneuve d'Ascq on November 21st.

On November 7th, Challes-les-Eaux won their game against Calais 67-61. Challes had the upperhand keeping the lead throughout most of the game and winning every quarter. KB Sharp contributed to the 2nd win in a row playing 37 minutes, the most from her team. She scored 12 points as well as 3 rebounds and 2 assists. Challes-les-Eaux will next be facing Mondeville on 11/14/2009.

Challes Les Eaux is currently 3-4 after beating Aix-en-Provence 82-61. KB played for Aix-en-Provence last year and she was determined to show up her old squad.  KB played 40 minutes in the game scoring 18 points going 5/5 from the floor, 2/6 from beyond the arch, and 2/2 from the line.  KB also pulled in 7 rebounds and dished out 6 assists. Challes next game is against Calais November 7th.   

October '09

Challes Les Eaux faced off against Basket Landes on Saturday in what proved to be an epic battle.  The two teams went back and forth all day, but  in the end Basket Landes pulled out on top with a 58-53 victory.  KB played 27 minutes scoring 5 points.

 

In Challes Les Eaux's first game on 9/27 KB willed Challes Les Eaux to a victory over Lattes Montpellier scoring a team high 16 points with 3 assists in her 37 minutes of play. 

September '09

The Sky's loss to the Shock on Sunday means that they must win their last two games to have a chance at the last playoff spot.  The Sky, Shock, Sun, & Mystic are all fighting for that last playoff spot.  The Sky face the Fever on Thursday and the Shock on Saturday. 

The Sky split the two games against the Liberty this weekend.  Friday the Sky won 96-77 and KB played 16 minutes, went 4-4 from the line, with one steal and one rebound.  Sunday the Liberty pulled ahead and never looked back in route to their 77-63 win over the Sky.  KB scored 6 points during her 15 minutes of action.

August '09  

The Sky traveled to LA to take on the Sparks Tuesday night.  The Sky came out fast and went into half time with a lead, but the Sparks came out in the second half and dominated the paint leading to a 75-63 Sparks victory.  KB played 15 minutes scoring 3 points and dishing 2 assists.  The Sky remain in 4th place in the Eastern conference as they look for a win Friday and Sunday in New York.    

The Sky took on the Shock Saturday night at home.  The Sky came out fighting and were tied going into halftime, but the Shock came out in the third with a purpose and the Sky couldn’t match their intensity.  KB played 14 minutes and did a fantastic job dishing the ball out to her teammates.  The Sky  are currently in LA awaiting there game on Tuesday against the Sparks. 

On Tuesday night, the Chicago Sky took on the Phoenix Mercury.  The two teams fought for control of the scoreboard throughout the whole game, but unfortunately Phoenix pulled ahead in the last quarter to win 106-99.  K.B. played for about 20 minutes, had 3 assists, and scored 4 points.  Chicago will play again Saturday against Detroit.

 

The Chicago Sky played against the Minnesota Lynx Saturday night in what proved to be a very close game.  Chicago was down a couple of players, but they were determined to play hard and won the game 79-76.  This win, puts Chicago tied for 4th place in the Eastern Conference. K.B. did not play in this game due to a sore knee.  Chicago plays again tonight against Phoenix.

 

Sunday night unfortunately did not prove to be victorious for the Chicago Sky as they took on the Detroit Shock.  Chicago did shoot well, however, their defense was just not strong enough to beat Detroit who won 64-58.  K.B. played for about 21 minutes, had 1 rebound, 1 assist, and scored 8 points.  Chicago plays again Friday night against New York.

The Chicago Sky played the Indiana Fever in what was to be an exciting game.  Heading into the second half, both teams were neck and neck and it was hard to tell who would take the win.  However in the third quarter, Indiana secured a lead that Chicago was unable to match and Indiana won 76-67.  K.B. played for about 14 minutes, had 2 rebounds, 1 assist, and scored 3 points.  Chicago will play again Saturday night against Atlanta.

The Chicago Sky was once again victorious when they played the Connecticut Sun on Saturday night.  Taking an early and strong lead, Chicago focused on their defensive plays to keep Connecticut from making any of their attempts.  The final score was Chicago 84 and Connecticut 72.  K.B. played for about 14 minutes and scored once.  The Chicago Sky can be seen playing Wednesday night against the Indiana Fever.

 

July '09

In last night’s game, the Chicago Sky worked hard for their win against the Los Angeles Sparks.  Although Chicago was behind going into the second quarter, they pulled ahead and secured their win with a score of 75-63.  K.B. played for about 19 minutes and scored once and had two assists. Chicago plays again on Saturday night against Connecticut.

 

The Sky faced the Mystics in Washington last Thursday night.  KB saw 4 minutes of action and was able to get to the foul line twice where she went 4-4.  Unfortunately, the Sky was unable to overcome the early deficit and the Mystics won 75-64.  Thy Sky face the LA Sparks on Wednesday at home. 

The Sky dominated the Silver Stars on Sunday.  The Sky came out fast scoring 22 points in the first quarter and played solid defense holding the Silver Stars to just 7 points.  Kb saw just over five minutes of action in the game.  The Sky is now 8-8 in the Eastern Conference as the look forward to Wednesday's game against the New York Liberty.

The Sky faced the number 1 seed in the east Indiana Fever on Wednesday.  They came out strong, but a second quarter 9 point surge by the Fever put the Sky down by 10 at half.  The Sky were unbale to overcome the 10 point deficit in the second half and lost 84-74.   The Sky face San Antonio this Sunday at home.  

The Sky came out strong when they faced Seattle on Sunday.  The Sky & Storm went back and forth for the first 3 quarters, but the Storm was unable to keep up with the Sky in the 4th as the Sky pulled away.  The Sky was unable to keep up with the league best Fever on Friday as the Fever came out and never looked back winning 83-54.  KB contributed 15 minutes of solid defense. The Sky face Indiana on the road this Wednesday and San Antonio this Sunday at home.

June '09

The 2nd place Chicago Sky remain undefeated at home this season as they improve their record to 5-0 at home and 6-3 overall. On Tuesday night the Sky defeated the Monarchs in a close game 74-72.  KB came back from her back injury and played just over 7 minutes.  The Sky face San Antonio on the road the Friday, July 3rd.  

 The Chicago Sky faced the conference rival Washington Mystics where second place was at stake. The Sky outscored the Mystics 10-2 in the last 5 minutes of the game to ensure the 68-63 victory and place them solely in second place. Although KB was unable to play due to back pain hopefully she will be back for their next game against the Sacramento Monarchs and help keep their winning streak alive. The Sky is currently one game behind the Fever.

The Chicago Sky is now 4-3 and in 3rd place in the Eastern Conference.  The Sky won their first road game in overtime against the Dream. The Chicago Sky won in overtime against the Atlanta Dream.  It was an extremely competitive and close game throughout the first four quarters and into overtime.  Chicago took the lead with 44 seconds left (99-98) and finished the game with a sound defensive effort not allowing the Dream to retaliate. KB played 6 minutes of lock down defense in Chicago’s win. The Chicago Sky's next game is on Saturday the 27th against the Washington Mystic.

KB and the Chicago Sky are now in 3rd place in the Eastern Conference with a 3-3- record!  In KB’s first road game of the season against the Connecticut Sun, she played 15 minutes had 2 points, 2 rebounds, and 2 assists in their loss.

KB’s Chicago Sky faced the Washington Mystics on the road where KB played three minutes in a disappointing 72-81 loss.   The Chicago Sky face the Washington Mystics again this Saturday the 27th.

KB and the Chicago Sky are off to a great start!!!  The Sky are now 2-1 with their win on Sunday, June 14th.  KB is averaging just over 4 minutes a game and is looking forward to their next two games against the Connecticut Sun on Tuesday, June 16th and Friday, June 19th.

February '09

6th place Aix-en-Provence is now 9-7 with a dominating win over 3rd place Challes-les-Eaux (71-50) on Feb 8th! KB dropped 13 points  and had 7 assists in the contest. Aix-en Provence’s next game is Feb 11th against Nantes Reze. Good Luck KB!

January '09

K.B. just re-signed with the Chicago Sky on January 9th!

K.B.’s team in France, Aix-en-Provence is currently 8-7.  K.B. is currently averaging 10.8 points per game, 4.3 assists per game (team leading), and 2.6 rebounds per a game.  She has been a dominant force on the court playing almost every minute of every game this season.  K.B.’s next game is on February 8th  against Challes-les-Eaux at 3:30.  Good luck K.B.!
